The Gallagher (CKG) Foundation has presented a check for more than $ 18,000 from Cameron’s camp proceeds for Cameron’s collection and recovery. The collections are a set of e-books created by Gale that help students better understand their mental health and provide guidance for strengthening their social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.
Since the collections launched in 2018, Gale has donated nearly $ 70,000 of the proceeds from the sale to the CKG Foundation. It has access to more than 2.5 million student collections across the country.
Cameron Gallagher, a bright and talented young woman battling depression and anxiety whose dream was to raise awareness and prevent unnecessary suffering from stigma. At the age of 16, he suddenly passed out from an unknown heart attack after crossing the finish line of a half-marathon, a goal he set that helped him cope. Her legacy and efforts survive through the CKG Foundation and its nationwide “SpeakUp” 5k race, which raises awareness and provides resources for adolescents suffering from depression and anxiety.
To support Cameron’s dream and preserve his legacy, Gayle, in collaboration with the CKG Foundation, created Cameron’s Collection and Cameron’s Camp so that schools were equipped with educational resources to help students, as well as donate a portion of the proceeds from each sale sold. To support the CKG Foundation’s mission to raise awareness and understand adolescents about depression and anxiety.

Cameron’s collection includes more than 100 digital titles covering a wide range of topics: ADD, ADHD, alcohol, anorexia, anxiety, bulimia, caring, cutting, depression, divorce, drugs, eating disorders, homelessness, OCD, self-injury, stress, suicide. , Mindfulness practice, goal setting and community involvement. Created in partnership with the CKG Foundation, the collection aims to inspire students to prioritize mental health and wellness.
Cameron’s Camp for Wellness has over 100 e-books that provide targeted guidance on sensitive topics for K-5 students, teachers, and counselors. . The core of this collection is to help students recognize and manage emotion, social skills and safety.
