How teachers use Wordle– and other games — for next-level engagement

“Did you get Wordle today?” What initially started as something that Josh Wardle created to serve as a personal daily game has become a family name, with users sharing their Wordle progress on social platforms and requesting friends to start the game. And now, teachers are using Wordle with other games, including viral status, to keep students busy.

The popular game works to make users guess-six guesses একটি a five-letter word. When users guess a word, a green square indicates that they guessed a correct letter in the right place. A yellow square indicates that the letter is in the word, but the user has placed it in the wrong place. And a gray square indicates that the letter is not in the word.

Different strategies often enter into these conversations – is it better to use all your guesses to guess the correct word, or should you use one (or more) guesses to delete the characters, intentionally not using a character you know to be in the right word?
