Carol Defuria, President and CEO of VHS Learning, said, “We have designed these courses specifically for those who want to be more flexible in their academic schedules. “Some students want to enroll in a course after the traditional fall semester begins. Now, whether they are working towards academic goals, career goals or they just want to explore a new interest, our flexible courses give them more choice about where to start learning. “
“Like all our courses, students who take flexible courses will receive significant teacher support. VHS Learning teachers interact with students in asynchronous discussions, host weekly office hours, and invite students to one-on-one monthly progress meetings, ”DeFuria continued. “This new course model is part of our mission to empower schools with the best teacher-led online learning programs in the industry and to provide students with a wide choice of courses that prepare them for college, career and beyond.”
